We Can Help
Our mission at Nourish is to help those in need in our communities, regardless of their age, race or ethnicity, gender or orientation, education or religious and political background.
-
We provide food, hygiene and infant products to those in need within our communities.
Our sister program, Nourish the Whole, is a continuation of our service by connecting you to employment opportunities, housing opportunities, referrals to partner organizations for clothing, emergency shelter, domestic violence support and child abuse initiatives.
-
To be eligible for our non-TEFAP/USDA services, you must meet income guidelines and provide required documentation at time of intake. If you qualify, you are eligible for services once per month and will receive a grocery cart of food sufficient to feed your size family for one week. Additionally, you will have access to anything that is available on our "open shelving," which varies daily based on donations. We also will provide you, as they are available, with specialty items to support your needs such as baby food, diapers (cannot guarantee size), pet food, adult sanitary products, hygiene products, or diabetic-friendly foods. You must provide your eligibility documentation each time you visit the food bank, as income levels can change month to month. Nourish does not discriminate based on age, race or ethnicity, residence, gender or orientation, religious or political affiliation, or education.

These documents are only required for those seeking non-TEFAP/USDA support:
ONE form of identification for Head of Household
ONE form of ID for each member of household (e.g. Social Security Card, Health Insurance Card, Birth Certificate, Ident-a-Kid, report card, etc.)
PROOF OF INCOME FOR EACH receiving individual in the household (e.g. pay stub, SSI determination letter, disability letter, etc.)
PROOF OF ADDRESS (mail, bill, lease, etc.)
-
At Nourish, you will be treated with courtesy and respect. We believe that there are many factors that influence the hardship you and your family may be facing and we are here to provide judgement-free support as you transition through this time of need.
When you visit, you will wait in the lobby until your name or assigned number is called. We have a small children's play area, and restrooms while you wait. The typical wait is 10-30 minutes. Once it is your turn, you will go through a short intake process to determine your eligibility for one or all of our support programs and to assess if you have additional needs for which we may be able to provide help or referrals.
